Anti-Graffiti Window Film in San Antonio
Anti-graffiti film in San Antonio for storefronts, restaurants, glass doors, elevators and any other glass that takes a beating. It’s a clear protective layer that goes over the glass and takes the scratches, etching and paint, so the glass underneath doesn’t have to. When the film gets tagged, we replace the film instead of the window. Every job starts with a free site survey and a written quote, and most installs can happen after hours or over a weekend.

What anti-graffiti film is
Anti-graffiti film is a clear film that goes over your glass as a sacrificial layer. When someone scratches, etches or tags the glass, the damage lands in the film instead of the glass. The damaged film comes off, a fresh sheet goes on, and the glass underneath is untouched.
It works like a screen protector on a phone. The protector takes the scratches so the screen doesn’t, and anti-graffiti film does the same job for a pane of glass.
We install it alongside our sun control, decorative and security films for businesses across San Antonio. See everything we do for commercial buildings.
Why replacing film beats replacing glass
Scratches and acid etching go into the glass itself, and no cleaner takes them out. Once glass is etched, the usual fix is a new pane. With anti-graffiti film on it, the fix is a new sheet of film.
That’s a smaller job than replacing glass, and you don’t have to live with a scratched-up front door while a new pane is ordered. I’d rather you replace a sheet of film than a pane of glass, and once you’ve priced both, I think you’ll agree.
It matters because damaged glass has a way of being the only thing anyone sees. It’s like a chip in your windshield: once you’ve spotted it, you can’t stop looking at it.
Where anti-graffiti film goes
Anti-graffiti film goes on glass and mirrors that the public can reach. It’s made for places like these:
- Storefront windows
- Glass doors
- Restaurant windows
- Bus shelters
- Elevators
- Mirrors
- Display cases
If people can reach the glass and nobody’s watching it overnight, it’s worth asking about. We’ll tell you at the site survey whether film is the right fix for it.
Clear enough that customers never notice it
Anti-graffiti film is clear, so your windows still look like windows. The display stays visible and the daylight still comes in. The front of the building keeps its look.
Nobody walking past will know the film is there. The only time anyone notices it is the day it saves your glass.
Anti-graffiti film isn't security film
Anti-graffiti film protects the surface of the glass from scratches, etching and paint. It isn’t built to hold glass together when it breaks, and it won’t slow down a break-in. That’s a different film.
If smash-and-grab break-ins are the worry, look at 3M security window film. It holds broken glass together, and 3M says it can hold back an intruder for up to two minutes. We’ll tell you at the site survey which film your building needs, and we won’t sell you the wrong one to make the job bigger.
Old window film removal for businesses
For commercial customers, we remove old window film on its own, or before new film goes on. Film that’s peeling, bubbled, scratched or purple comes off clean, and the glass is ready for whatever’s next.
The same goes for anti-graffiti film that’s taken a hit. The damaged sheet comes off and a new one goes on. The glass never knew it happened.
How an anti-graffiti film job goes
Every job starts with a free site survey. We look at the glass, measure it and talk about what’s been happening to it, and then you get a written quote.
- Site survey and quote. Free, at your building. The price comes in writing.
- Cleaning. Every pane gets cleaned so the film bonds properly.
- Cutting and fitting. The film is cut to each pane so it covers the glass edge to edge.
- Application. Each sheet goes on smooth, with no bubbles and no gaps.
- Final check and clean-up. We check every pane and take every scrap with us.
Most installs can happen after hours or over a weekend, so your doors stay open. Warranties on commercial film depend on the film, and we’ll show you the terms for yours before you sign anything.
Commercial jobs we've done lately
Three recent storefront and commercial jobs
Gym storefront. Security film on the front glass, so the windows hold together if somebody tries to put something through them.
Retail storefront. 3M security film on the storefront door, the glass that gets the most hands on it every day.
Big-box store. 3M Night Vision 15 on a wall of front glass, to take the edge off the heat and glare coming through it.
The three above are security film and sun control film jobs, on the kind of storefront glass anti-graffiti film is made for.
We’ve installed more than 5 million square feet of film since 1989, on buildings, homes and cars. That includes more than 10,000 square feet of 3M security film on the Bexar County Elections Office, installed in 10 days, and the Marriott atrium, which took a week and is still my favorite job.

Anti-Graffiti Film Frequently Asked Questions
Questions business owners ask about anti-graffiti film
What is anti-graffiti film?
Anti-graffiti film is a clear protective film that goes on glass and mirrors. It takes the scratches, etching and paint so the glass underneath doesn’t. When it’s damaged, the film gets replaced instead of the glass.
What happens when the film gets scratched or tagged?
We take the damaged film off and put a new sheet on. The glass underneath stays as it was. Call us when it happens and we’ll set up the replacement.
Can you see anti-graffiti film on the glass?
It’s clear, so the glass still looks like glass. Customers see your windows and your display, not the film.
Where can anti-graffiti film go?
On storefront windows, glass doors, restaurant windows, bus shelters, elevators, mirrors and display cases. If the public can reach the glass, it’s worth asking about.
Is anti-graffiti film the same as security film?
No. Anti-graffiti film protects the surface from scratches, etching and paint. Security film holds glass together when it breaks and slows down a break-in. We’ll tell you at the site survey which one your glass needs.
How much does anti-graffiti film cost in San Antonio?
Every job gets a free site survey and a written quote. The amount of glass, how hard it is to reach and whether old film has to come off all set the price.
Can you install after business hours?
Yes. Most installs can happen after hours or over a weekend, so your doors stay open. If daytime works better, we’ll work around your team.
Do you remove old window film?
Yes. For commercial customers we remove old film on its own, or before new film goes on.
What warranty comes with anti-graffiti film?
Commercial warranties depend on the film. We’ll show you the terms for your film before you sign anything.
