Every film goes on the same way, but how it is cut makes all the difference. The old way was to cut the tint by hand on the outside of your glass, next to your paint. We don’t do that.
We use a computer plotter with a database of thousands of vehicles. It pulls the exact pattern for your car’s windows and cuts the film before it ever touches your vehicle. Every cut is the same as the last one, with no hand trimming on the glass and no blade near your gaskets or paint.

Understanding tint shades and VLT
VLT means visible light transmission. It’s the share of light that gets through the glass, so a higher number means a lighter tint and a lower number means a darker one. Texas allows 25% VLT or lighter on the front side windows, and anything you like behind the driver.

How much does auto tint cost in San Antonio?
Every car gets its own free quote, by phone or through the form. The film you choose and the number of windows set the price, and we tell you the number before you drive over. No pressure and no upsell.
Is my tint going to be legal?
Yes. We install to the Texas rule: front side windows at 25% or lighter, back windows as dark as you want. If you ask for something the law doesn’t allow, we say so before we start.
How long does window tint take?
Most cars are done the same visit. Customers report anywhere from around 45 minutes for a quick job to two and a half hours for a full truck or SUV.
Do you tint windshields?
Yes. We put clear UV film or 3M Ceramic IR 70, a clear ceramic film, on the whole windshield. Film that darkens the glass only goes above the AS-1 line or in the top five inches, as Texas law requires.
Do you remove old tint?
Yes, as part of a new tint job. If your old film is bubbled or purple, we strip it and the adhesive before the new 3M film goes on.
